Why oneninety8

Built by someone who has had to hit the number

Most marketing is sold by people who've never had to hit a sales number. Robb Sutton has spent 20 years in sales and supply chain leadership for industrial companies across the US, Europe, and Asia. He has sat on the side of the table that needs marketing to produce pipeline, and he built oneninety8 to deliver it.

How your next customer finds you

Your next customer is asking AI who to call.

Before they ever fill out a form, people ask Google and tools like ChatGPT for a shortlist. The answer comes from what's published about you: your website, your content, your reputation. We build and run the marketing that gives AI a reason to name you.

Every free Teardown includes the check: we ask these tools the questions your customers ask and see whether they recommend you, a competitor, or no one.

Tested on our own brands first

We run it on our own sites before yours.

The same process runs Robb's own publications. This is Bike198 on a live Google search: the first result, and the source Google's AI Overview cites.

  • #1“Revel Rascal vs Ibis Ripmo” and cited in the AI Overview
  • #4“Santa Cruz Hightower 2026”
  • #7“best eMTB motor 2026”

Google search positions checked October 20, 2026.

Bear Gridiron Club

The club had goodwill all over town and no system to collect it. Memberships lived in a spreadsheet, and sponsors got asked whenever someone remembered.

We built the brand, the site, the membership and sponsor programs, and weekly season updates that go out on schedule without the club touching them.

What we shipped
  • Brand identity & visual system
  • 12-page WordPress site
  • Membership & sponsor programs
  • Automated news-to-email pipeline

What we do

One engine. Built and run as one

Most companies have content at one vendor, social at another, and nobody watching the leads. We build it as one system, then run it every month as your marketing department.

01

Strategy

The thinking a marketing leader would bring.

  • Positioning and offer. Who you're for, and why they should call you.
  • A plan tied to revenue. Topics mapped to your most profitable services, reviewed with you on a set schedule.
02

Content

Everything your market sees.

  • Search and AI visibility. Pages built to rank, and to get cited when AI answers the question.
  • Social and email in your voice. Weighted to where your customers are, usually LinkedIn first for B2B.
03

Leads

Everything after the click.

  • Pages that start conversations. Clear offers, lead magnets, and landing pages.
  • A plain-language monthly report. The leads that came in, where they came from, and what we're changing next.

No build-and-goodbye projects. We plan, publish, measure, and tune it every month. You run the business. We run the marketing.
